My 26 year old son, John, had been with his girlfriend and 2 other friends. he was out with the 2 guy friends and they dropped him off at the girlfriends. he had apparently ingested xanax, somas and oxys which is what took his life. But the friends had to know that his breathing was very shallow and he was definately too high. the girlfriend said when she woke up he was already dead. He had experienced an accidental overdose the week before he passed away and one of the same friends that was with him here at the house when i called the squad kept telling me that he would be fine and not to call for help.......of course I knew that he was definately in trouble and that he needed immediate help. so there is no doubt in my mind that they knew he needed help that night and just assumed that he would be fine after he slept if off. They were DEAD wrong!!!!!! He passed away May 15, 2009.
